Part 1. Getting to know GIS Panorama Mini (MapView 2011)
In this part you will learn the main principles of working with GIS Panorama Mini (MapView 2011). You'll learn how to open the map, regulate its view, manage the map content, request the map object description and edit it. You'll also get to know different ways of navigation on the map, searching objects by type, area and different characteristics, and finding objects by coordinates.
You can download the example map of Belize by visiting page Example maps: Political map of Belize

Lesson 1. Getting to know MapView 2011
In this lesson you will learn some basic operations in MapView. You'll learn how to open the map and regulate its view. You'll also know how to manage the map scale and change the map view
Lesson 2. Map content
In this lesson you will learn how to manage the map structure. You will learn "Map Content" dialog and you'll hide for displaying some map layers and objects.
Lesson 3. Navigational functions
In this lesson you will learn how to navigate on the map with the help of "Map Navigator" and use all its functions. You'll fix several map positions and save them into a script. You'll find the necessary place by coordinates of this place.
Lesson 4. Object description
In this lesson you will learn how to request map object description. You'll learn how to change object semantic and metric characteristics and scale. You'll save map object points in .txt file and change object's view.
Lesson 5. Searching for map objects by name
In this lesson you will learn how to search for map objects by different semantic characteristics.
Lesson 6. Search and mark dialog
In this lesson you will learn how to work with Search and mark dialog. You will search for objects by their semantic characteristic taking to account different conditions. You will learn how to create and work with models of searching.
Lesson 7. Search for map objects by area
In this lesson you will learn how to search for the map objects by their location. You will search for objects taking to account different options and parameters.
Lesson 8. Auxiliary raster and map addition
In this lesson you will learn how to work with auxiliary data. You will add an additional map and raster to the project. You will learn how to view and change parameters of raster and map.
Lesson 9. Objects marking
In this lesson you will learn how to work with group of marking modes. You will mark different objects on the map by their types and by frame, view the list of their semantic characteristics and edit semantics in this list.
Lesson 10. Object samples
In this lesson you will learn how to work with objects samples. You will create some objects sets and make operations with them, like: find objects by distance, find objects by crossing and build buffer zones around objects in the set.
Part 2. Creation and edition of the map
In this part you will learn how to create a new map, create new point, line and square objects, put titles on the map, edit and delete map objects.

Lesson 11. The new map creation
In this lesson you will learn how to create a new map.
Lesson 12. Copying the map objects from the other map
In this lesson you will learn how to copy objects from one map to another, with and without objects' view changing.
Lesson 13. Creation of the point object on the map
In this lesson you will learn how to create point objects. You will put on the map some points by loading coordinates from the text file and by entering coordinates from the keyboard.
Lesson 14. Creation of the line object on the map
In this lesson you will learn how to create line objects. You will put on the map the objects applying supplementary modes of creation.
Lesson 15. Creation of a title on the map
In this lesson you will learn how to put a title on the map. You will learn how to fix title's position on the map and how to change its view and style.
